She's An Angel
She came to me in the middle of the day,
A gentle breeze carrying her slowly away.
I felt a sense of peace fill my heart,
The time had come for her to depart.
Now she's an angel dancing merrily,
Without a sound and so carefree.
I wish I could see her new golden glow,
She's earned her wings, this I know.
Her days on earth were far too few,
I'm left wondering what I should do,
She listened when I needed an ear,
Taught me that life was nothing to fear.
Now she's an angel trying her wings,
As beating hearts around her sing.
She'll be there to welcome me someday,
Together we'll laugh as we run and play.
She touched many lives with her love,
Now she looks over us from up above.
Just listen to hear the sound of her voice,
If I could pick an angel, she'd be my choice.
Now she's an angel roaming streets of gold,
Making sure stories aren't left untold.
I promised her that I'd never say good-bye,
So I'll smile today and try hard not to cry.
She was more than a friend to me,
She was what any good sister should be.
Her hopes and dreams still glitter like gold,
She's dancing now where she'll never grow old.
With Love,
Dedicated to Claudia Arevalo Lowe,
My friend and my sister by choice.

To My Dearest Family And Friends
Some things I'd like to say, but first
I'd like to let you know I have arrived okay.
I am writing this from Heaven, where I dwell with God.
Where there is no more tears or sadness, there is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy because I am out of sight.
Remember that I am with you morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth
was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said
I welcome you. It's good to have you back again,
You were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they will be here later on.
I need you here so badly, as part of My big plan.
There is so much we have to do to help our mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do
and foremost on that list of mine is to watch and comfort you.
And I will be beside you, every day, and week, and year.
And when you are sad, I am standing there to wipe away your tears.
And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth and
all those loving years, because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain.
Remember, there would be no flowers unless there were some rain.
I wish that I could tell you of all that God has planned,
but if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is o'er,
I am closer to you than ever before.
And as for my many friends, trust that God knows what is best.
I am still not far away from you, I am just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb.
But together we can do it, taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy, and I'd like it for you too,
that as you give unto the World, so the World will give to you.
If you can help somebody who is in sorrow or in pain,
then you can say to God at night "My day was not in vain".
And now I am contented that my life it was worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet someone who is down and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick them up as on your way you go.
When you are walking down the streets and you have me
on your mind, I am walking in your footsteps,
only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze or wind upon your face,
that's me giving you a great big hug, or just a soft embrace.
And when it is time for you to go from that body,
remember you are not going, you are coming here to me.
And I will always love you from that land way up above.
We will be in touch soon again.
P.S. God sends his Love.
God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you beautiful eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home
We love you always, Claudia
Love,
Nina Stephanie
